How we compare

Every head-to-head follows the same method, so you can trust the numbers:

  • Pricing from the source. We take pricing from each vendor’s own pricing page and stamp the date we verified it.
  • Facts vs opinion, clearly separated. Verified facts are sourced; every judgment is labeled “our analysis.”
  • No hands-on claims we didn’t earn. We don’t publish star ratings or in-shop test results we didn’t actually produce.
  • Segmented by shop size. The best system for a single-bay shop isn’t the best for a ten-bay operation — we say which is which.
